Join Us for Our Día de Los Muertos Community Celebration!

Sunday, October 26th | Starting at 9:00 AM

Come be part of a vibrant tradition that honors and celebrates the lives of our loved ones who have passed. The day begins at 9:00 AM with face painting and horse painting to prepare for our colorful parade, which steps off at 11:00 AM. We’ll walk together to the fairgrounds, where the celebration continues with live music, traditional dances, a Catrina and Catrín contest, a beautiful altar display, and local vendors showcasing their unique, handcrafted goods—and much more!

About the Tradition:
Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a deeply rooted cultural celebration, blending Indigenous Aztec customs with Catholic influences. It’s a joyful time to remember and honor our ancestors, believing that for these two days, their spirits return to visit. Marigolds, music, food, and art guide them back to us, turning remembrance into a colorful, life-affirming event.

This celebration is the grand finale of our free community workshops, where participants have created everything from floral headdresses to papel picado, altars, and more. Come witness the beauty of what our community has made—together.

Free & open to all ages – Bring your family, your friends, and your best festive attire!
