Juanita is best known in the community for her work as a baby photographer, capturing some of life's sweetest moments. Alongside her photography, she also enjoys creating one-of-a-kind handmade gifts. Her work blends creativity, intention, and a love for crafting items that bring joy to family and friends.
Katie Mackin
Katie Mackin is a Plein Air and Studio Watercolor artist, living and working in Southern Monterey, and Sonoma Counties. She began her career as a Medical Illustrator, and Graphic Artist at University of Utah School of Medicine, under the tutelage of Julian Maack and continued as Head Medical Illustrator at St. Louis University Medical Center until moving to
California.
As a member of the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association (MBPAPA), Katie continues to create and expand her artistic knowledge. Inspired by nature, color, gestalt and stories of life,
Plein Air Painting is the truest journey to capture the natural world in Katie’s artistic voice. Design and color contrast are threads that run through all Katie’s artwork. Katie’s development as an artist is to be able to capture the feeling of why she was taken by the subject, and to be able to portray that notion in a painting.
